Here’s one feature you won’t find on too many vehicles. A 10,000 champagne holder. And it’s on none other than the Bentley Flying Spur.
For the first time, the Flying Spur can now be specified with a refrigerated bottle cooler between the rear seats, painted veneers, Mulliner quilted leather, sterling silver atomizers and hide-trimmed stowage boxes. This new range of personalization options are but a few of the limitless possibilities a customer can find with Mulliner, and further enhance the Flying Spur’s reputation for unparalleled luxury and refinement for both work and relaxation.
The flutes – designed so that the base of the glasses mirror the design of Bentley wheels – can also be placed in specially designed flute holders in the centre console armrest, for secure storage between sips. When not in use, the bottle cooler and glasses can be stowed and concealed, with the fifth seating position reinstated.
Each refrigerated bottle cooler is made to order, hand built and trimmed in the Mulliner workshop over 15 hours.
The manufacturer does not typically “disclose to the public prices for bespoke features,” Bentley spokesperson Erin Bronner told Autoblog, “as these are private commissions” and pricing varies from region to region. The options list, as you might have guessed, does not start and end with the wine cooler.
It also includes specially painted veneer panels, quilted stitching, scent atomizers in Sterling silver, and a leather-trimmed storage compartment for jewelry.
