Oh sure, they debuted a concept version of the Kia Stinger GT back in 2011. But did we really expect them to come out and actually build it? We were a bit skeptical. After all, it’s so far removed from anything Kia’s ever done before. But thankfully, they did. Because it’s one hot looking sports sedan.
The Stinger GT is powerful. It boasts 365-horses, the highest-performing Kia ever in the automaker’s history. It’s even been tuned at the famed Nürburgring. In terms of size and length, the wheelbase is bigger than the Audi A4 and A5. Designers also focused on weight distribution. It has a low center of gravity with the engine as low and towards the middle of the car as possible. It’s due to hit the road here in the U.S. late this year.
