Recently purchased my daughters Lexus 2002 IS 300 and it brings back memories of some of the performance cars that I owned in the past. Manual states that you use premium high octane gas and she has done that since it was new. I took your suggestion and tried regular gas and did not notice any difference in the performance of the car.
