Cool Off with this Mercedes-AMG Winter Driving Academy Video

Porsche isn’t the only automaker thinking about winter already. So, too, is Mercedes-AMG.

The brand’s performance division is teasing its winter driving school in a new video clip. It’s every bit as cool looking as Porsche’s Canadian winter driving school we showed you last week.

The Mercedes-AMG Winter Driving Academy takes place just south of the Arctic Circle in Arjeplog, Sweden.  The region is so cold during the winter- averaging about 0 degrees Fahrenheit that time of year – that it’s where many automakers do their extreme cold-weather testing.

Out on a frozen lake, drivers can catch icy drifts on a custom-made course. Courses are offered in the dead of winter. By that we mean January, February and March of 2017. It’s just one of several driving programs the brand offers all over the world at different times of the year.

The variety of cars you can drive varies, but Mercedes-AMG says models include the Mercedes-AMG GT S. Check out some of the action below.
