Join the Car Pro Show THIS Saturday at DFW Auto Show

The 2016 DFW Auto Show returns to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center this week, March 16-20, for its 35th Anniversary.

The event also, said Car Pro Dealer/Partner Don Herring Jr., 2016 DFW Auto Show chairman, falls during Spring Break week in North Texas, which is a bonus for families looking for “staycation” opportunities.

Make plans now to come by the DFW Auto Show on Saturday March 19th!  The Car Pro Show will be broadcasting live from 9 AM to 2 PM.  Also, see below on how you can win free passes to show this Saturday on WBAP 820 AM.

“The DFW Auto Show has always been the best place in the Metroplex for serious car shoppers to look, compare, test drive and dream,” Herring said. “With 650,000 square feet of exhibit space and more than 700 new vehicles, the Show provides consumers with hours of research possibilities, including conversations with manufacturers’ product specialists.”

An impressive lineup of all new or redesigned vehicles for 2016 is scheduled for the DFW Auto Show this year including; Buick Cascada; Cadillac CT6; Chevrolet Camaro, Malibu and Silverado; GMC Sierra; Hyundai Tucson; Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Night and Renegade 75th Anniversary Edition; Lexus RX; Mercedes-Benz C450AMG Sport, GLC and GLE; MINI Clubman and Convertible; Mitsubishi Outlander and Lancer Final Edition; Nissan Altima, Sentra and Titan XD; the Texas debut of the Toyota 4Runner T-Force Special Edition; and Volvo XC90.

The spotlight also will be on a variety of 2017 models, including two Texas debuts – Acura NSX and Mazda CX-9. Additional 2017s include: Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio; Buick LaCrosse; Cadillac XT5; Chrysler Pacifica; Fiat 214 Spider; Ford Escape, F-150 Raptor, Focus RS, Fusion and Super Duty F-250; GMC Acadia; Hyundai Elantra, Santa Fe and Santa Fe Sport; Infiniti QX30; Jaguar F-Pace and XE; Lincoln Continental and MKZ; Mercedes-Benz C300 Coupe and GLS 550; Mitsubishi Mirage; and the Porsche 911.

This year’s DFW Auto Show will offer two Ride & Drive opportunities. Returning for the third consecutive year will be the indoor RAM Trucks Ride & Drive where professional drivers will steer participants through an interactive adventure zone in their choice of four RAM models. This event will be held all five days of the Show.  The outdoor Ride & Drive, Friday-Sunday, will feature more than 60 vehicles from Acura, Buick, Chevrolet and GMC Trucks; Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Jeep and RAM; Ford, Kia, Mazda and Toyota to choose from for test drives through the streets of downtown Dallas.

“Our Ride & Drives continue to gain momentum every year. These events are a great way for consumers to acquaint themselves with innovative technology and safety features that the vehicles have to offer. The product specialists are very knowledgeable about their respective vehicles, so consumers are ensured the best hands-on driving experiences possible,” Herring said.

Spring break activities for the whole family include the “Kids’ Zone” Powered by Kidventure and sponsored by the Classic Family of Dealerships. This year, Kids’ Zone will be on site all five days and will feature a 24-foot inflatable dual slide, a Monster Truck Bounce House, Adrenaline Rush Obstacle Course, Grand Prix for kiddos five years old and under, and an Art Center Station. On Saturday, March 19, the Easter Bunny will make an appearance from noon to 4 p.m. In addition, there will be live music and autograph signings with local sports celebrities on Saturday as well.

“We know mom and dad come to the Show to look at vehicles, but we also want the kiddos to have a fun experience at the DFW Auto Show as well. The Kids’ Zone is the perfect respite for kids of all ages, and Saturday is sure to be an exciting day, too” Herring added.

Additional exhibits and displays to round out a full entertainment experience at the Show include: approximately 100 classic vehicles from Corvette Classics, Dallas Classic Chevys, Lone Star Corvette Club, North Texas Mustang Club, Pack Automotive Museum, and Z Club; and an Aftermarket Area with an array of products and services for the home and auto.
