DFW Car Pro Dealers Step Up To Help Dallas Police Choir

DFW Car Pro Dealers Step Up To Help Dallas Police Choir

Most people remember the events of July 7, 2016 in downtown Dallas.  Twelve Dallas Police officers were shot, 5 were killed.  The assassin was killed hours later after police sent a robot in that was equipped with a bomb.

The Dallas Police Department has an exceptional choir made up of 30 women and men officers.  I got word last week that they were trying to go to Washington, D.C. in May to represent Dallas and perform during National Police Week.  A story came out in the news that they were raising money for the trip and had put up a gofundme.com page.  When I went to see where they were, they were $11,000 short, which I thought was a real tragedy.

I sent an email to my Dallas-Fort Worth dealers, asking them to join me in donating to this great cause.  Within 12 hours, the money was committed and sent, putting them over the top.

I applaud the following dealerships; each one gave $1000 donation:

Five Star Ford Carrollton, Five Star Ford N. Richland Hills, Five Star Ford Lewisville, Five Star Ford Plano, Freeman Toyota, Rusty Wallis Honda, Don Davis Nissan/Lincoln, Freeman Mazda/Hyundai, Sewell Cadillac Dallas, and Park Place Mercedes Dallas.

Thank you, ladies and gentlemen, I am truly proud to have you on the Car Pro Show.
