Chevrolet Introduces Daytona Speedway Delivery Program

Chevrolet Introduces Daytona Speedway Delivery Program

Imagine driving your brand new Chevrolet on the famed Daytona International Speedway. Well, the automaker will soon make those dreams come true for many new Chevy vehicle owners.

The automaker will roll out its new Daytona Delivery Experience for racetrack enthusiasts later this year. It will be available as a delivery option on many 2017 models, for an added fee of course.

Taking delivery at the famed speedway is certainly exciting in and of itself.  But the really cool part is what happens next. Owners will be able to drive their first few miles on the track. A whole VIP experience comes with it, too, which includes a tour, a keepsake to take home and documentation that the car took a turn on the track.

The delivery center, which will resemble a dealership, is being built in the infield adjacent to Gatorade Victory Lane. Pricing isn’t available yet, but the delivery option should cost around $1,000. Chevrolet already offers a Corvette delivery option for $990 at the National Corvette Museum in Kentucky. It also includes a private tour of GM’s Corvette Assembly plant.

Daytona recently received a $400 million facelift as part of the DAYTONA Rising redevelopment project. The speedway now has 100,000 new seats, double the restrooms, and triple the concessions stands.

Chevrolet was a founding partner of the project and is also an official partner of the DAYTONA 500. The automaker will receive Official Pace Car rights in select years beginning in 2017.
