How About Some New Shoes To Go With That Audi?

How About Some New Shoes To Go With That Audi?

Summer is here and Audi is kicking it off on the right foot. It’s pairing with TOMS Shoes to donate 55,000 pairs of shoes to children in need during its Summer of Audi Sales Event. The cool catch is that every driver who buys or leases an Audi during the event will get their very own custom pair of limited-edition Audi TOMS, featuring the four rings.

“Through TOMS One for One giving program Audi will help change the lives of thousands of children in the United States and empower new customers to be a part of this movement. With TOMS, we found a natural partnership. Audi aligns with like-minded companies that challenge the conventions of design and share a passion for progressive ideas,” says Loren Angelo, Director of Marketing, Audi of America.

Audi debuted a new ad announcing the TOMS partnership Wednesday. It’s called “Footing” and the spot features an RS7 stripped of its tires and talks about proper footing. The exclusive TOMS shoes are then revealed and, of course, their color matches the RS7. Check out the spot below.

“We are excited to be partnering with Audi, a company that shares our passion for progressive ideas and positive impact, to create a unique giving experience for Audi customers, says Blake Mycoskie, Chief Shoe Giver and Founder of TOMS.

If you want to get in on the shoe action, you have until August 4th.  That’s how long the promotion is running. The hitch is that the shoes will be sent along to you a few weeks later, so you won’t literally be walking out of the showroom with them. But, the car will do while you wait.

The RS7 featured in the ad is one of Audi’s top performance vehicles. It gets 560 horsepower from a 4.0-liter TFSI V8 engine. It comes in the Quattro All-Wheel Drive system which gives it that firm and sporty footing that Audi is known for.

The inside is packed with goodies including a 14-speaker Bose Surround Sound System with AudioPilot noise compensation technology to monitor and adjust the sound quality with the road. Textures are luxury-minded as well with a special honeycomb stitching on the sport-contoured Valcona leather seats.

The 2016 RS7 is on the road now. To get to drive one though, you’ll be dishing out about $108,900. But hey, a pair of matching shoes with a good cause will be thrown in. So get ready to put those exclusive TOMS to the metal.
