Jerry: Here is a stunt Ford pulled off to show the strength of the 2017 F-Series Super Duty frame.
This is amazing to watch!
In Ford’s biggest Super Duty stunt yet, the automaker took eight F-150’s, equalling 60,000 pounds, and hung them from one of its high-strength steel frames. To make things even more interesting, it also added an F-750 Tonka dump truck into the mix.
The new fully boxed frame is made up of more than 95 percent high-strength steel, which Ford says makes it up to 24 times stiffer than the previous frame.
Ford will build its new 2017 F-Series Super Duty at its Kentucky Truck Plant. It will hit the road later this year.
