Lexus Unleashes New 2016 LX Ad Campaign

Lexus is rolling out its new ad campaign for the updated 2016 Lexus LX 570 and this SUV is definitely no shrinking violet. Why just check out the Lexus trademarked grille on the front end. It’s massive and the biggest one we’ve ever seen on a Lexus, ever.

“The LX is a sophisticated and powerful vehicle that equally appeals to those looking for style and comfort and those seeking adventure,” said Brian Smith, Lexus vice president of marketing. “The new LX marketing campaign highlights the vehicle’s modern design and engineering that effortlessly bridges high luxury with true ruggedness.”

The third generation model is the automaker’s flagship in the SUV department and it’s one of the last body-on-frame SUVs on the market. It also gets new, more modern looking headlights along with boomerang-shaped chrome trim with small round fog lights on either side of the lower front bumper. In the back, you find LED tail lamps, more chrome trim, and an updated bumper.

The LX, which seats eight, comes with a V8 engine and 4WD chassis. It churns out 383 horsepower and delivers 90-percent of its 403 pound-feet peak torque at just 3,600 rpm. New features include a new eight-speed automatic transmission, more standard safety feature and an upgraded multimedia system with a larger 12.3-inch screen and remote touch interface.

Inside, the dash gets a new look, too, with a new wood-rimmed steering wheel and instrument cluster.
