RAM Trucks just can’t get enough of creating special edition trucks. True to form, two new trims will get you noticed going down the road in can’t miss Lime Green and Blue Streak.
Ram Sublime Sport 1500
First, let’s talk about the Ram Sublime Sport 1500. And let me tell you, it really puts the lime in Sublime.
The exterior goes a nearly monochrome of Nickalodian slime green. Including the crosshairs on the grille. It adds nice black details to ground the look. These are the matte black stripes on the sports performance hood, black aluminum 22-inch wheels, and black badges.
Moving into the cabin, you’ll see matching neon green accent stitching on the upholstery. Including on the Sports and RAM logo embroidery on the headrests. Interior badges also are done in green. The rest palette goes black.
RAM will only build just over 3,000 Sublime Sports as an add-on package to the Crew Cab V8. Accordingly, it starts at $47,135.
Ram 1500 Rebel Blue Streak
The Ram Rebel is designed as an off-roader and the new Blue Streak trim is offered in all configurations.
If you really want it to be special though you’ve also got to throw on the Black appearance package. This gives it the black decals on the performance hood. It also adds black wheels, grille, brush guard, and badges.
You can also get the Blue Streak in a dual tone job. Meaning, you can opt for black pain on the lower body. This gives it a more streak of blue feel.
The good news with this one is that it’s more of a new color introduction you customize when ordering, so it’s not a limited model like the Sublime. So just keep in mind the Rebel starts at $46,490. Throwing on the Black package adds on just shy of $600.
Both models are going on display at this week’s New York Auto Show before arriving in dealerships next month.
