Nissan Murano Winter Warrior Concept Heads to Cleveland

Nissan Murano Winter Warrior Concept Heads to Cleveland

Nissan is bringing one of its three Winter Warrior Concepts to the Cleveland Auto Show kicking off on February 26th. And it’s an outdoor beast that is not messing around.

The Nissan Murano Winter Warrior Concept ditches its normal wheels for a custom heavy-track system with custom matte-black finish frames. The Dominator Tracks from American Track Truck are 48 inches long, 30 inches high and 15 inches wide and replace the wheels and tires. The suspension and wheel wells were modified to fit the snow tracks. The powertrain remains the same.

Nissan’s design team also created identical, custom matte red-chrome body wraps featuring a unique “track” design and Nissan “Winter Warrior” signage. A range of Genuine Nissan Accessories are also fitted to the Murano Winter Warrior, including cargo area protectors, all-season floor mats, roof rail crossbars and rear bumper protectors.

Nissan says Murano sales increased 33 percent in 2015. You can check out Nissan’s trio of Winter Warrior vehicles, which includes a Pathfinder and Rogue version, below.

The Cleveland Auto Show opens its doors on Friday evening, Feb. 26 at 5 p.m. and runs through Sunday, March 6. Tickets are $13 for adults and $11 for seniors and preteens. Children six and under get in free. Parking is free. Show hours are from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. the first Friday evening; from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.
