Nissan is out with new pricing details for the its midsize 2016 Frontier pickup along with the Versa Note hatchback.
2016 Nissan Frontier
The 2016 Nissan Frontier King Cab starts at $18,090 and goes up to $32,000 depending on how big you want to go with it. Meanwhile, the pricer 2016 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab starts at $22,800 and will take you over the $35,000 mark depending on engine choice among other things.
Nissan’s added three new paint colors for 2016: Forged Copper, Gun Metallic and Magnetic Black. Also, a Moonroof Package is added to Frontier Crew Cab SV model.
Engine options stay the same. Frontier again offers a choice of two powerplants: a 4.0-liter DOHC V6 engine rated at 261 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque or a 152-horsepower 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder engine (King Cab only).
The 2016 Frontier is offered in both King Cab and Crew Cab body styles and in 4×2 and 4×4 driveline configurations, along with five trim grades: Frontier S (4-cylinder and V6), SV, PRO-4X (4×4 only), Desert Runner (4×2 V6 only) and SL (Crew Cab only).
2016 Nissan Versa Note
The 2016 Nissan Versa Note hatchback, which is on sale now at Nissan dealers, will start at $14,180 and go up to just under $19,000 for the top trim level. This is the third model year for the Versa Note and it’s offered in a range trim levels: S, S Plus, SV, SR and SL.
Nissan is adding some upgrades for 2016. There are two new color choices: Cayenne Red and Gun Metallic. The SV grade adds as standard equipment content previously found in the SV Convenience Package, including: NissanConnectSM with Mobile Apps, 5.0-inch color display, Streaming audio via Bluetooth®, Hands-free Text Messaging Assistant and SiriusXM Satellite Radio (SiriusXM subscription required, sold separately), RearView Monitor and Divide-N-Hide® Adjustable Floor.
