After requesting a Car Pro Show VIP certificate from Ancira-Winton Chevrolet in San Antonio, I got a prompt reply from Joe Lopez asking how he could help.
I e-mailed back about a used Tahoe and set up an appt. with him for Friday evening. (I am in Austin).
Unfortunately I had to cancel at the last minute because I ended up needing to take my 12 year old son to the airport for a flight to a baseball tournament.
I e-mailed Joe and he said no problem, come in Sunday and I said I would.
We did not have a time set up but as I walked into the New Car showroom around 3pm, he was right there to greet me and knew exactly what vehicle I was there to see.
He “escorted” me in a golf cart down to the pre-owned lot to his “assistant” Safir and told me he took care of all his Car Pro Show customers.
Safir greeted me by name and showed me to his office area and said he would have the vehicle right up. I noticed numerous “Salesman of the Month” and “Salesman of the Year” plaques for 2008-2011 all over his wall so I knew he was “the man”. He told me about the Tahoe and we went for a test drive. He answered all my questions and could tell I was in “research” mode as opposed to “buy” mode and applied exactly zero pressure.
He could tell I was looking for “numbers” on everything and provided an excellent price for both the Tahoe and a Jeep we drove. I am not so sure about buying a Tahoe, but if I buy one it will be from Ancira because of pricing and professional conduct. The price he gave me on the Jeep was also very good and he offered to get leathers seats put in at very close to cost.
All in all, these guys get a 10 out of 10 and I will return if ever looking for a new Chevrolet or they have a pre-owned vehicle that meets my needs.
