Get ready to load up your four-legged friend for some fun. It’s National Dog Day and Autotrader is celebrating dogs and their owners alike by naming the cars on its Best Cars for Dog Lovers list.
“We know car shoppers take every aspect of their lifestyle into account when shopping for their perfect ride, and four-legged friends are no exception. The cars on our list provide key features for pet owners, such as fold-flat rear seats, rear lift gate, low ride-height, airy cabin and under-floor storage,” says Brian Moody, executive editor for Autotrader.
The survey that found that 22 percent of its visitors would consider taking, or have taken, their dogs along for a test drive and over half of pet owners consider their dogs when choosing a car. (As always practice pet safety in the car.)
