It won’t be long now.
Ford is getting ready to roll out the all-new 2017 F-150 Raptor in November. The ad campaign is already underway with this new video off the off-roader. It shows the 450-horsepower Raptor taking on the desert to show off its high-strength metal frame, 3.5-liter EcoBoot engine and all-new 10-speed transmission. (The 10-speed was developed with General Motors.) The video also shows off other main features including the terrain management system and bedlock capable wheels.
In September, Ford confirmed the 450-horses along with 510 pound-feet of torque. The new 3.5-liter replaces the cast-iron 6.2-liter V8 used in the previous generation model.
The Raptor Supercab starts from $49,520 for the Supercab, the Supercrew from $52,505. If you put every single option and accessory on the four-door Supercrew you’ll hit the $70,000 mark.
