17th Annual Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Auction Going On Now

If you are headed to Barrett-Jacksonís 17th Annual Palm Beach Auction or plan to watch it, here is some useful information to help you navigate the world-famous automotive lifestyle event.
The event runs three days: Thursday, April 11, through Saturday, April 13.
Wednesday, April 10, is Preview Day, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., for registered bidders and consignors only.
More than 600 No Reserve cars and 300 automobilia items will be on display for all to see right from the beginning, with many still on-site even after they cross the auction block.
Automobilia (automotive-related memorabilia) and collector cars will cross the block daily beginning on Thursday, April 11.
Rain in the forecast? Donít worry! A good portion of the auction site is under cover.
Even if youíre not a huge fan of cars, there is plenty to do and see: a vast marketplace with dozens of exhibitors, a number of food vendor locations offering a wide variety of dining options, interactive exhibits from sponsors and fantastic people-watching (keep your eyes open for celebrities).

There is plenty of public parking, with shuttle service to and from the main gate. Valet parking is also available.
Bring your mobile device charging cable! Florida Power & Light has charging stations set up in the auction arena and at their display.
TV crews from MotorTrend and Discovery will provide 18 hours of live coverage. Alert your friends at home Ė they may spot you on live television!
Like most major sporting events, Barrett-Jackson has stepped-up security. Security officers will be checking and tagging all bags at the entrance, and guests will be screened for weapons and contraband. Only one sealed bottle of water (under 17 oz.) will be allowed. Other beverages, food, weapons of any type, video cameras, skateboards, drones, coolers and animals (with the exception of service animals to assist guests with disabilities) are among the prohibited items.
