Honda is recalling 630 Honda CR-V SUVs to fix a potential issue involving a previous airbag repair. It impacts certain models from the 2007-2011 model years.
Honda says the airbag maker may have assembled the airbag inflator repair kit with a wrong wire harness. So the airbag may not deploy if needed. You can check out the government recall documents here.
Dealers will inspect and replace the passenger front airbag inflator for free if needed.
Honda will start notifying owners Aug. 1. You can contact Honda at 888-234-2138 or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 for more info. Owners can also visit www.safercar.gov to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
