Batman and Superman meet in the woods. Who walks away? A Renegade. That is, a Jeep Renegade.
Jeep is partnering with Warner Bros. Pictures to make a very special edition of its 2016 Jeep Renegade just in time for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice which hits theaters March 25th. And we have to say its dark appearance fits the bill.
Along with the special edition Dawn of Justice Renegade, Fiat Chrysler is also releasing a campaign that features both its vehicles and scenes from the movie. The spots will specifically feature the Jeep and Dodge brands along with “hero scenes.”
The first of the spots is called “Into the Storm.” It shows sneak peek footage from the film with Bruce Wayne, aka Ben Affleck, skillfully maneuvering a Renegade though an action scene.
The kicker is that you could drive a Batman approved Renegade to see the opening of the film on March 25th, too. The Dawn of Justice Special Edition will be available at dealers later this month.
It uses the Renegade Latitude 4×4 as its base and carries a 2.4-liter Tigershark engine with MultiAir2. It comes standard with nine-speed automatic transmission, Jeep Active Drive 4×4, and Selec-Terrain with four drive modes.
The special edition also comes standard with add-ons like the Popular Equipment Group that includes remote start, power driver’s seat, and dual-zone automatic climate control. It features the ParkSense rear backup camera as well.
The cool hero factor shows on the outside with a choice of Granite Crystal or the new and exclusive Carbon Black exterior colors. It gets new 18-inch Gloss Black wheels and Gloss Black accents throughout the exterior design. It also gets its own Bat Signal with special exterior badging. The Granite Crystal exterior gets a two-tone Gloss Black roof.
The 2016 Jeep Renegade Dawn of Justice special edition starts at $26,250.
