Hyundai is getting in on the 2016 SEMA action this year with a new off-roading Santa Fe Concept meant for the trails.

It teamed up with Rockstar Performance Garage to create the nitrous-powered 4X4 concept, which is modified every which way.

The first thing that grabs your attention are the huge wheels and tires. We’re talking 17-inch KMC XD 301 Turbine off-roading wheels coupled with 35-inch off-road tires. All of that certainly calls for a wheel clearance expansion setup. It also features a custom roof rack, Warn Winch, and Bulldog LED lighting. Inside is about leather and a Kicker audio system.

There are key modifications to the basic Hyundai-based 3.3-liter Lambda V6 engine. Rockstar adding an AEM cold air intake, Mishimoto cooling system and nitrous-oxide injection system. Big R1 six-piston front and four-piston rear brakes were also fitted to the CUV. King coilcovers come up front and shocks in the rear. There is also a Magnaflow exhaust. Custom suspension is a given of course. It features new tie-rods and control arms.

The 2016 SEMA show runs from Nov 1-4 in Las Vegas. It’s a trade event and not open to the public.
