Infiniti is rolling out its very important all-new Q60 Coupe lineup this fall.
It’s designed to put the brand back on the sports car radar against the likes of the BMW 4 Series. The Q60 is actually a reboot of the G37 series, which never did so well for the brand. It’s worn the Q60 badge for the last two model years, so this makes it the third-generation.
The flagship of the Q60 family is the gorgeous 400-horsepower Red Sport 400. A new VR-series 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine gives it that muscle along with 350 pound-feet of torque.
The 2017 Q60 Red Sport 400 starts from $52,205 for real-wheel drive and from $54,205 you opt for Intelligent AWD, including destination charges.
The flagship features large sport brakes, sport-tuned Digital Dynamic Suspension and unique 19-inch sport aluminum-alloy wheels. It also features exclusive Red Sport 400 exhaust tips and chrome finished red “S” exterior sport badging on the trunk and front fenders.
Inside features semi-aniline leather-appointed sport seats, aluminum-accented pedals and paddle shifters. Infiniti says it’s modeled around the concept of a “driver’s glove” – fitted, personal and tailored for the person behind the wheel.
Oh, and that gorgeous color, Dynamic Sunstone Red, is exclusive to the model.
The 2017 Q60 Red Sport 400 starts arriving at dealers this month.
