If you don’t know how to jumpstart a car, you may not want to learn from the guide that comes with the 2017 Jeep Compass. FCA says the instructions may be wrong in the guide, so it’s recalling approximately 13,000 model-year 2017 Jeep Compass SUVs to replace them.
The issue is with a graphic that reverses the polarity of the battery terminals. So if you follow the guide, you’d be hooking up the battery incorrectly.
