The Velar is also a big deal because itís the first Land Rover to use the new Jaguar F-Pace platform. However, Land Rover says 70 percent of the Velar is completely new.
Pricing for the model also fits with placing it between the Evoque and Sport. However, it places it in the same range as the new Discovery. The lowest price tag for a Velar falls just above the $50 grand mark. It will set you back more than $90 grand if you decide to go with a top trim First Edition V6. Trims and engine options fill up a good variety of price slots between the two. It just depends on what and how much you want.
The Velar will go on sale stateside sometime this summer. You can check out our review of the Velarís big sister Sport here
