It was our lucky day recently when we had a chance to check out a vehicle in the flesh that few others have so far -- the 2018 Lincoln Navigator Black Label L.

At nearly a foot longer than the regular model, it's the long wheelbase version of the redesigned Navigator. With a starting price of $97K, it's also the priciest trim of the new lineup and only comes with 4X4. To put things into perspective, the base level 2018 Navigator starts from $72,055 excluding destination charges. The Black Label L we checked out at the new Lincoln Experience Center in Texas featured a detailed, rich-looking Mahogany Velvet Leather interior known as the Destination trim. It's inspired by vintage luggage and the art of travel. We didn't go light on photos for this granddaddy of SUVs. You can check them out below. The 2018 Lincoln Navigator goes on sale this fall.
