2020 Acura NSX Offers New Heritage Inspired Yellow Hue

As colors go, this one will certainly get you noticed (as if the car itself wouldn’t already!) Check out the striking new Indy Yellow Pearl hue Acura is rolling out on the 2020 NSX. It’s a throwback to Spa Yellow, one of two paint colors offered on the first-generation NSX.

Acura is showing off the shiny new Indy Yellow Pearl paint scheme during 2019 Monterey Car Week. It’s being displayed alongside an NSX GT3 Evo race car that features a custom designed livery with yellow and blue accents over the exposed carbon fiber body.

Acura says Spa Yellow was applied to around 20-percent of NSXs produced between 1997 and 2003. That made it the fifth most popular first-generation NSX color. For the final two years of NSX production (2004-2005), Spa Yellow was replaced by Rio Yellow.

If the 2020 NSX’s latest yellow hue is calling your name, and you have $157,500 plus an extra $1,000 for the premium color, you can order one now. Deliveries start in November.
