2020 Honda Odyssey Offers 25th Anniversary Package, Plus New Standard Features

2020 Honda Odyssey
Happy 25th Anniversary Honda Odyssey! Yes, Honda’s popular minivan is celebrating 25 years on the road since launching back in 1995. In honor of the milestone, Honda will offer a special 25th Anniversary accessory package on the 2020 Odyssey. Plus, Honda’s 10-speed automatic and Idle Stop will become standard across the lineup.

25th Anniversary Package

The 2020 Honda Odyssey’s 25th Anniversary accessory package is available on any Odyssey trim level, be it the LX, EX, EX-L, Touring and Elite. It features a chrome roof rack, body side moldings, lower door garnish, chrome rear bumper protector and illuminated sill plates with the 25th Anniversary logo. There are also special 25th Anniversary badges on the front fenders and tailgate, as well as a 25th anniversary key fob. Unique 19-inch wheels are an additional option.

2020 Odyssey Lineup

All 2020 Honda Odysseys now come standard with Idle Stop and Honda’s newest and most advanced 10-speed automatic transmission. All trims also share a 280-horsepower, 3.5-liter i-VTEC V6 engine.

  • The Odyssey LX comes standard with push button start, two USB ports, a Multi-Angle Rearview Camera, and automatic climate control.
  • Odyssey EX adds the Honda Sensing suite of safety and driver assistive technologies, blind spot information, Honda's Magic Slide 2nd-row seats with seating for eight, power sliding doors, and tri-zone automatic climate control with rear controls. EX-L trims add leather, one-touch power moonroof with tilt feature, power tailgate, and an additional three USB ports for a total of four, with Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System and a rear entertainment system available as well.
  • Touring and Elite trims get LED headlamps with auto on/off and WiperLink, HondaLink® with 4G LTE WiFi mobile hotspot capability (with subscription), front and rear parking sensors, HondaVac, CabinWatch cabin monitor, and handsfree-access power tailgate. Elite adds a heated steering wheel and rain-sensing wipers, wireless phone charging, power folding mirrors, ventilated front seats, and an upgraded premium audio system.

Honda is also updating the Odyssey’s color palette slightly for 2020 by adding a new Platinum White Pearl, that replaces White Diamond Pearl.

Availability

The special 25th Anniversary package will be available on the 2020 Odyssey starting August 13th. Pricing for the base LX model starts from $30,690 excluding destination. The 25th Anniversary package tacks on $1,500 (or $2,800 if you opt for the 19-inch wheels.)

Let's see, give me a vehicle that has seating for 8, is easy to get in an out of, has more cargo and passenger space than a suburban, is super comfortable, has tons of tech including 4G-LTE Wi-Fi and Blu-ray and power lift gates and doors, has the first 10 speed auto trans available in any front drive vehicle, has paddle shifters, a killer sound system, gets 28mpg on those long road trips, and fits in the garage. Plus give it a full honking dose of Honda Quality and a touch of Acura luxury. I'll take one please. There are minivans (yuck), and then there's the Honda Odyssey.
