An all-new 2020 Nissan Versa is on the way. The automaker unveiled the third-generation subcompact sedan this week in front of concert-goers at a musical festival in Florida. The car made its debut in the middle of a pop-up performance from popular country music star Kane Brown at Rock the Ocean's Tortuga Music Festival.

Redesign

The Versa is the third of four Nissa vehicles to get a redesign in the past seven months. Nissan says the 2020 Versa has been redesigned inside and out and is packed with technology and safety features at a price that fits entry-level buyers in the subcompact segment.

Powertrain

The next generation 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine offers 122 horsepower and a 114 lb-ft of torque paired with the enhanced Xtronic transmission or a 5-speed manual.

Technology is a top priority in the all-new Nissan Versa, featuring available Nissan Safety Shield 360, a prime example of Nissan Intelligent Mobility that helps provide front, side and rear safety monitoring and intervention technologies. Standard safety features include Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Rear Automatic Braking, Lane Departure Warning and High Beam Assist.
