The new 2019 Cadillac CT6 V-Sport will arrive equipped with the brand’s exclusive new twin-turbo V-8 engine. Matched to a 10-speed automatic transmission, it will kick out 550-horsepower and 627 lb.-ft of torque.

The V-Sport comes with summer performance tires, a mechanical limited-slip rear differential and specially tuned suspension for improved roll control and cornering.

It’s all-wheel drive with 19-inch Brembo brakes developed specifically for the V-Sport high-performance model.

CT6 V-Sport Design

The CT6 V-Sport marks the first in a series of new Cadillac performance vehicles. It’s based on Cadillac’s range-topping CT6 sedan and will come in Luxury and Sport trims.

The V-Sport model picks up cues from Cadillac’s Escala concept with its new “V”-inspired mesh grille.

The side skirts are sportier than the standard CT6 and its eyes are new headlamps. In the back, new taillights create an upside down L shape. The V-Sport also features black window trim, “V” badging, and 20-inch multi-spoke wheels.

In the Cabin

Inside you’ll find leather upholstery, carbon-fiber trim as well as Cadillac’s upgraded infotainment system. It comes with a 10-inch infotainment screen with a new rotary controller.

Safety Features

Just like the current CT6, the V-Sport model will offer a suite of active safety features. They include Forward Collision Alert, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Forward/Reverse Automatic Braking, and Safety Alert Seat.

There are some new offerings, too. Available Rear Pedestrian Detection checks for pedestrians behind you. Also, an available industry-first Surround Vision Recorder video recording system records front and rear views while driving, and 360 degrees of recording if the car’s security system is activated.

Super Cruise, Cadillac’s new semi-autonomous driving technology, won’t be offered on the V-Sport.

The new CT6 V-Sport rolls out in the first half of 2019.
