Ford is taking pre-orders for the 2019 Ford Ranger due out early next fall, so that means we finally have pricing details.
2019 Ford Ranger Trims and Pricing
According to the Fordís newly launched build configurator
, the base model XL with 16-inch wheels and cloth bucket seats will start at $25,395, which includes a $1,095 handling and destination charge. That pricing falls in line with the Toyota Tacoma, which comes in at a $25,400 base price, but the Ranger comes in several thousand above the Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon.
The Ranger will come in three trim levels Ė XL, XLT, and Lariat. it will be offered as a Supercab with a six-foot bed or a full 4-door SuperCrew with a five-foot bed. All Rangers share a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission and come in 4◊2 or 4◊4 versions.
A top-of-the-line Lariat 4◊4 SuperCrew starts at $39,480 and can be as expensive as $43,000 if you add options like adaptive cruise control, an FX4 package thatís equipped with an electronic locking rear differential, skid plates, and off-road traction management systems.
