When all was said and done for August, sales were up 12% from August 2018, at least with those car companies that report sales. Ford, GM, and Chrysler only report quarterly, so we’ll see how those three fared at the end of this month.
There were way more winners than losers for the month of August. All total, Americans bought over 921,000 new cars last month, again not counting the Detroit three.
