Lexus dealers are the happiest dealers according to the latest dealer attitude survey from the National Auto Dealers Association (NADA). The organization surveys new car dealer/owners twice every year to gauge the relationship between automakers and their franchised new car dealers.

Its the second year in a row that Lexus dealers rate their automaker as tops, after also claiming the number one spot last summer. There are a lot of factors that go into the findings, including the profitability of the dealer, factory-to-dealer communications, and the ability of the regional personnel to respond to car dealer concerns.

NADA only publishes the list of the top-ten automakers. Toyota comes in second followed by Subaru:

In a statement to trade publication Automotive News, David Christ, the General Manager of Lexus Division said: "We value our strong partnership with our dealers, and are pleased to keep the first and second place ranking in the Lexus and Toyota family.

After the results are tabulated, NADA sits down with the automakers and typically the Dealer Council members to let them know what the dealers think of how they do business, but do not disclose any information about what an individual dealer said on its survey.
