Ford Reintroduces Expedition King Ranch Edition As Sales Surge

Ford is bringing back the iconic King Ranch badge on the all-new 2020 Ford Expedition. Itís making a return after being away from the lineup since 2017 and extends Fordís 20-year partnership with the famed Texas Ranch that started back in 2005. The re-introduction comes as Expedition sales surge. Ford says U.S. sales through August this year were up 56 percent versus the same period last year Ė the best eight-month start for the nameplate in more than a decade.

Glad to see Ford has decided to bring back the King Ranch edition to the Expedition line. I was disappointed when it was not brought forward in the 2018 make over. I have a 2015 Expedition King Ranch EL and love it. The King Ranch interior and exterior appointments really stand out. The cargo and towing capabilities of this vehicle are impressive when used for trips and weekend jaunts as well as for a daily driver.
