Kia is among the automakers supporting health care workers during the COVID-19 pandemic by donating and delivering critical medical equipment to workers on the front lines. Theyre doing so with the help of its so-called Kia Telluriders, volunteers who are delivering Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to hospital and medical facilities nationwide. Its part of Kias Accelerate the Good initiative.

Most recently, Kia Telluriders delivered face shields to Morristown Medical Center/Atlantic Health in Morristown, New Jersey. The donated face shields were assembled by paid volunteers at Kias manufacturing plant in West Point, Georgia.

Its just the latest example of Kias ongoing efforts to support medical workers on the front lines.

Earlier in May, Kia delivered the first of the 95,000 face shields the company is donating to hospitals and medical facilities throughout Southern California to Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo. The automaker has also delivered N-95 face masks and gloves to medical facilities throughout Orange County, California.

Kia isnt just limiting its help to medical workers. The automaker says it has also donated $1 million to non-profit partners to help assist Americas homeless youth population.
