Pickup Truck Wars! First Quarter 2021 Sales Results

Pickup sales overall continued to roll on in the first quarter of 2021. Ford, as usual, dominates with sales of the new 2021 model doing very well. No doubt F-Series sales will suffer in the second quarter due to the microchip shortage.

Ram has a 22,000 unit lead over Chevrolet in the first three months of this year, which is a bit of a surprise. Chevy has been pretty conservative with its incentives so far this year, while Ram has been turning up the heat. There is a long way to go in this hotly contested race, and GM can turn the incentive spigot on at any time.
