The all-new BMW X5, available with an optional off-road package for the first time, will start from just over $60K plus destination and handling. As we reported last month, the fourth-generation X5 will also offer more room and technology that the outgoing model.
2019 BMW X5 Pricing and Standard Equipment
You can get in the X5 xDrive40i starting from $60,700 plus $995 destination and handling. Step up to the X5 50i xDrive and prices start from $75,750.
Standard equipment includes a Sport Automatic Transmission with launch control, Dynamic Damper Control, BMW Live Cockpit Professional with navigation, two 12.3” digital displays, and running the seventh generation of BMW iDrive operating system, Adaptive Full LED headlamps, Active Blind Spot Detection, Frontal Collision Warning with City Collision Mitigation, Panoramic Glass Sunroof and pre-wiring for 6,600 lb. trailer towing.
The X5 can now be ordered with optional Remote Engine Start, the latest driver assistance systems, BMW Laserlights, heated steering wheel and armrests, as well as optional heated and cooled cupholders.
Production Starts Later This Summer
BMW plans to start building the X5 at its plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina later this summer. The final phases of gearing up for production are almost complete.
BMW says its Spartanburg plant is now the largest BMW plant in the world thanks to the popularity of the X model family. The new X5 is the 10th X model to be produced at Plant Spartanburg since it began operations in 1994. The X3, X4, and X6 are also built there.
The new 2019 X5 arrives in showrooms November 10th.
