Well, it wouldn’t be another day without another new Chevrolet special edition pickup. This time, the Rally Edition based on the Silverado 1500 is making its debut at Texas Motor Speedway during Duck Commander Race Week.
Chevy says the Rally Edition’s monochrome exterior and simple chrome accents were inspired from trends in street-performance trucks.
There are two models available: Rally 1 and Rally 2. Rally 1 adds the statement rally striping down the hood and sides. It comes with 20-inch black wheels and is only offered as Custom model with the double cab. The Rally 2 builds on this with 22-inch gloss black wheels and 4-inch round assist steps. It is offered with the LT Z71 with a double or crew cab.
The other special editions on display at the Texas Motor Speedway are the previously revealed Midnight and Realtree.
The Midnight black edition uses the 1500 Z71 as its base with the Off-Road Package. . The front end is all-black including the grille, bumper, headlamp bezels, tow hooks and fog lamps. The black continues with black side moldings, beltline moldings, 18-inch black-painted alloy wheels and black badges. The bowtie? Also black.
The Realtree edition is a collaboration between Chevy and the hunting company. Because of this, it of course gets a heavy hand of camo without being untasteful or obnoxious. It also starts off with 1500 X71 with the off-road package.
The camo appears in swatches on the doors and tailgate along with the iconic antlers. The front seats have the Realtree logo embroidered on their headrests. Vote for your favorite in Chevy’s twitter poll.
