    Segment transcript:

I’m Laura Reynolds with CarProUSA. Ford Exterior Designer F-150 Raptor Tom Liu sees the F-150 Raptor’s design as a way to honor military personnel. “It all started with a thought within Ford, we thought that it would be a great opportunity for us to honor the US military through our design of bringing the fight engine raptor on board to kind of give a little spirit that we can incorporate into our design for the truck.

But that’s one of the reasons, right, but the other reason was we thought that F-150 Raptor is the king of off-road and has been dominating the off-road pickup truck world for the past decade and we thought since the F-22 Raptor has been dominating the air space for so many years, decades actually, so I think they both represent the top-of-the-tier basically from a technology perspective and also it’s performance as well.”
