2022 Ford F-150 Lightning Pro Charging

Each week, our veteran radio news journalist, Laura Reynolds, brings interviews with top auto industry execs to CarProUSA. You can hear her latest Auto News shorts right here. In a hurry? Then you'll love these 1-2 minute interview segments.

    Segment transcript:

I’m Laura Reynolds with CarProUSA. Ford General Manager Commercial Marketing Raj Sarkar talks about charging the F-150 Lightning PRO. Sarkar: “From the depot charging stand point if they’re going to set up that way we will work with them and help guide them in terms of what they need to put in place. And actually the same applies for companies who have their employees taking the trucks home and charging at home, they have that 48 amp charger or 80 amp charger and have it installed at home. And importantly we offer e-Telematics. So now in a full range of Telematics solutions to really support this whole set up for an employee charging at home there’s seamless reimbursement for their electricity that they are using at home and the fleet they don’t have to turn in any receipts or anything like that it’s all done automatically through the Telematics system. And then the third space is public charging and we have the largest public charging network in the U.S., so 63,000 charging points and that is also set up through telematics to be completely seamless.” For more automotive news visit www.carprousa.com.
