I’m Laura Reynolds with CarProUSA. Kia Product Strategy Manager Carnival Joseph Choi says the 2022 Carnival is a segment buster. Choi: “It’s not quite a van, it’s not quite necessarily an SUV, in that it can do more than SUVs can. People described it as, it can be different things for different people. What is that then. We shouldn’t just call it a van, everyone was like nah you would be pigeonholing it, then so MVP Multipurpose Vehicle that’s what came to be and then also because it’s so advanced and then when you throw in the actual package, all of tech and feature and all that it’s truly at another level. So all the vans that you see elsewhere in the marketplace today as well as in the past, this is kind of going a step further and we thought with that it deserved a new name, a new identity along with that, so it’s carrying the Carnival name which is consistent with what is the name in other markets around the world.” For more automotive news visit www.carprousa.com.
