I'm Laura Reynolds with CarProUSA.com.  In a new study released by the American Automobile Association (AAA), COVID-19 has changed the way a lot of Americans make their travel plans. 31% of U.S. travelers say they are more likely to purchase travel insurance for their trip between now and the end of 2022. That 31% specifically cited the pandemic as to why they are considering purchasing travel insurance to protect their vacation investments. Senior Vice President AAA Travel Paula Twidale says quote “Travel insurance is relatively inexpensive for the large amount of peace of mind it affords and that’s more valuable than ever in light of the pandemic." Twidale continues by saying "Americans have seen how important travel insurance is to protect their vacation investment and are prioritizing this purchase at the start, now more than ever”. 69% of travelers say the ability to cancel a trip and get a refund is the most important reason for insurance.
