I'm Laura Reynolds with CarProUSA.com. Technical Leader, Ford Research and Advanced Engineering Clay Maranville says Ford’s Refresh95 air filter removes particles 30 times smaller than a human hair. The new filter helps reduce allergies, traps bacteria-sized particles and isolates smog and soot. Maranville gives us a timeline. Maranville: "Right now we're planning on coming in in the third quarter. You know we have a long game plan on this that by the end of next year we're going to have this in most of our vehicles, so that's the direction we're going and beyond that we're looking at making sure we engineer our vehicles climate systems, you know, to be able to always accept you know these kinds of filters and even some stuff we have on the drawing board that I won't talk about today that might be a little better." The Bronco Sports, Escape, Explorer and Mustang Mach-e will be among the first Ford vehicles to feature the Refresh95 air filter. With Today's Auto News, I'm Laura Reynolds.
