I’m Laura Reynolds with CarProUSA.com.  GM is celebrating its $2.2 billion dollar investment renovating its assembly plant in Detroit into ‘Factory ZERO’. GM Assistant Plant Director, Factory ZERO Cathy Staelgraeve talks about the zero emissions plant. Staelgraeve: "Factory ZERO is a flagship for General Motors as the first all-electric assembly plant and we support GM's vision of a world, a future, with zero crashes, zero emissions and zero congestion. The vehicles that we build support that very specifically with the technology that they have and you know we couldn't be prouder, the whole work force you know is proud to be in this moment. The plant itself, we don't even have gasoline on site. So historically our assembly plants would have gas-powered vehicles, so we do have like I still drive a gas-powered vehicle I shouldn't, I don't want to mislead anyone, but we don't have gas even in the plant to fill up a plant truck or something like that."For more information on these and other vehicles, check out CarProUSA. With today’s Auto News, I’m Laura Reynolds.
