I'm Laura Reynolds with CarProUSA.com.  Director of Global Connected Services marketing at General Motors Laura Thornton says OnStar services is now being offered to all drivers whether they own a GM vehicle or not. Thornton: "So you download the OnStar Guardian App, step one, then from there the set up instructions are pretty simple within the app. But it includes awesome features like automatic crash response so we were able to build an algorithm that allows your phone to detect if you've been in a crash and bring in an OnStar advisor. It includes roadside assistance, location services and you can share it with up to seven family members. So included in your subscription you cam extend all of those benefits to your network around you and we're able to help our customers whether you push the button or get into a crash, and especially trained advisor will come on the phone." That's the OnStar Guardian App.  For more information on these and other vehicles, check out CarProUSA.com. With Today’s Auto News, I’m Laura Reynolds.
