Honoring Our Fallen Car Show Coming Up April 24
Honoring Our Fallen

I have unapologetically supported our police officers and all first responders for decades. So, I am pleased to invite you to a very special event being held in Corsicana, TX to honor the three Corsicana police officers killed in the line of duty. Ironically, this was started by a Dallas Police Officer named Brent Thompson, who was gunned down in Downtown Dallas during the ambush on July 7, 2016. Five DPD officers were killed that evening.

A group of citizens commissioned an artist to make a life-sized bronze statue to be placed near the entry to city hall. It will memorialize officer Robert Robinson and the other 2 officers, Charlie Maddox & Ves Arp, who preceded him. It will have the provision to add names, should the need regrettably be required. This show is to help fund the $40k required to finish the statue, expected by end of year.

The show is called the HONOR OUR FALLEN Car Show and Fundraiser. It is free for spectators, and only $20 for car show entrants. There will be a silent auction all day with 25 or so donated items, from auto related, a TV, decorator items, even a vacation package, gift certificates, and there is more coming.

It is an open show for entrants, meaning new, old, car, truck, project, race car, and motorcycles can enter. If you own it and like it, bring it! This is a judged show with 30 handmade awards!

During the event theyll have food on-site, a silent auction, live music, a Veterans tribute at 2PM, shopping downtown, restaurants downtown, an axe throwing booth, a 50/50 jar, and several auto related commercial booths. LOTS TO DO ALL DAY!
