U.S. Pickup Truck Sales In The Second Quarter Of 2021

With all brands reporting for the second quarter of this year, we have a look at the truck race for 2021.  Generally it’s not a race at all…Ford has been the #1 seller of truck for 44 straight years.

However, the chip shortage has hurt Ford a lot more than Ram and Chevrolet and it shows in the second quarter truck sales numbers.  Ford found itself in third place in the second quarter standings.  A year ago in the second quarter, Ford led GM and Ram by over 60,000 vehicles.  It is a much different picture this year.
