Officially, it’s called the BMW Individual M760i xDrive Model V12 Excellence The Next 100 Years.
BMW only plans to sell 100 of these beauties in blue and before you get too excited about that number, note that only 5 are earmarked for the U.S., so it is quite limited indeed.
The models stand out in exclusive Centennial Blue metallic paint. The wheels are forged 20-inch light-alloy done in a V-spoke design and a dual color scheme of Silver and Ferric Grey.
They come with three different engine choices. The U.S. models get a 6.6-liter V12 engine. They come with M Performance TwinPower Turbo technology that’s good for an expected 610 horsepower and a 0-60 mph time of 3.6 seconds.
BMW notes that the 12-cylinder in the 7-Series is historically significant to the brand. Back in 1987, it was the first post-war series made with a 12-cylinder. It was also the first engine ever to use throttle by wire technology.
The interior gets its party on with special Smoke White Full Merino Leather. The seats come in a quilted design that includes hand-wove piping and a woven texture. The floor is not forgotten with floor mats in matching Smoke White with contrasting black accents. This includes a Piano Finish Black for the steering wheel and fine wood accents.
Special handcrafted “The Next 100 Years” seals dot the interior on the B-Pillars, a strip above the glove compartment, and on all four headrests. The cover of the cup holder in the front also says “1 of 100.”
If all that isn’t enough, you even get an exclusive Montblanc fountain pen with each model.
Look for the Centennial models to arrive by the end of this year.
