CES: Mercedes Unveils Self-Driving Lounge Concept

We’ll take one of these, please! Mercedes-Benz unveiled its self-driving car of the future at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this week.  It’s dubbed the Mercedes-Benz F 015 Luxury in Motion. And quite frankly it’s not like anything we’ve ever seen. Inside and out, this concept car is all about the future and we’re pretty sure even it would take the Jetsons by surprise. It’s basically a lounge packed into a car that you don’t have to drive yourself.  And of course, it’s designed to run on hydrogen fuel.

“Cars will turn into mobile homes in the very best sense of the word,” said Mercedes-Benz CEO Dieter Zetsche at the announcement event. “Exclusive cocoons on wheels, letting people do exactly what they want or need to do.”
