Just wanted to follow up with you on Sewell Infinity.
I went there last Saturday, the 24th, and met Erin.
Her last name is now Yeoman. Either married or divorced now, fyi, I didn't ask and really didn't care.
She greeted me and said "We just love our Jerry Reynolds referrals."
She explained that she needed to be in her office, but had a sales lady by the name of Anisia ready to help me.
Erin explained that Anisia would answer all my questions, show me the cars I was interested in and then Anisia would go to her and she would help me. I went back and forth between the G37 and the FX35 for about an hour. Both have great plus's and some minus's. Even though the FX rides a little rougher, about like my G35 which I was already use to, I bought it anyway. The real deciding factor for me was Driver comfort. The seat in the FX goes back further than the G37 and the seat was just more comfortable. If the seat in the G37 went back as far as in the FX35 and it was as comfortable a seat for me, I would have bought the G37. I know it will use more gas, but if I am going to keep this a long time, which I will, I want to be comfortable especially on long trips.
After I had decided what I wanted and made it known to Anisia we looked at their certified pre-owned invintory. They didn't have the color I wanted in a 2010 or 2011 model. Anisia went to Erin and they came up with a great deal, about 11% off list, on a 2012 with the color I wanted. They also gave me 3K for my 2003 Infinity G35 with 211,657 miles on it.
When Anisia came back from talking with Erin and had the price for me Anisia told me," I've never seen a deal like this one. When I buy a car, I am going to be a Jerry Reynolds referral too." I don't think she was acting, she seemed genuinely surprised. I think she was new there too.
I feel sorry for those folks who don't know about your show, or don't listen to it. You have that engaging, interesting personality that is easy to listen to, even if your not in the market to buy a car. Your so knowledgable about so many different aspects of the car business and so many different makes, models and when they were manufactured.
I am still a listener if I am out driving around on Saturdays.
