First contact was great. Rep took the time to show my daughter 2 CX5’s. Then his service and response fell off a cliff when I attempted to call multiple times to work a deal and the rep never returned my call. As a last resort I called back asking to work a deal with a diffeee t rep and they were somewhat flippant and asked me “what my intent is”. I responded that I wanted to buy a Mazda and would like to work with them. The price he gave was not competitive so o purchased the car with ParkwayFamilyMazda in kingwood.

Chose to do business with this dealership because they had the incentives published on the website. Although I did not get the advertised incentives, they offered a better deal. The only disappointment I have is the low price they offered for my trade in. Otherwise, everything was relatively painless.

I had a first visit with Mr. Charles Silmon to explain the vehicle, trim and color we were looking for. Within a few minutes he found the exact vehicle which was on its way from Japan and gave me a purchase price proposal. Today we agreed to a final price, signed the papers and I put down a $500 deposit on the car. I never had such an easy and pleasant experience on a purchase of a new car. Mr. Silmon (and Ms. Candis May) tried hard to help me and make sure I was totally satisfied with the purchase process. I don't think I spent more than 30 minutes on each of the two visits. Great people.

There was an add-on charge that was never clearly disclosed incl. 1st yr (free) maintenance, Door Edge / cup guards and Ceramic Paint treatment. Throughout the conversation we were told the car came with free maintenance during the 1st year and while they asked us if we wanted to extend the Ceramic Paint Treatment 'the car came with' beyond its lasting time, which we declined, it was not clarified that we were charged for the initial treatment. We paid MSRP and did not expect other items to be added without our knowledge. For these three items we were charged an additional $1,995 that we unfortunately overlooked when everything was listed. We blindly trusted the procedure. Strangely, there is also no document that clearly refers to these items. I did mention it to Kenneth and he apologized for the misunderstanding and promised to improve the process in the future and that he values us as a customer. While Kenneth and his team were very professional, I do not think that in this particular case we were better off going with a CarPro dealer. We paid $30,300 MERP & $1,995 for the add-ons stated above. We traded in our 23 old Nissan Maxima, which still was running great, with 1 yr old battery, less than 2 yr old tires and front shocks replaced in 2022. We got $750 for it. The only insentive we received was free tinted from windows ($250). The one accessory we chose to buy and were aware of was a cargo cover for $250. What we learned is to be careful, CarPro dealer or not. Otherwise, we were pleased with the selection of the cars and Kenneth was nice as expected from a sales person. I am happy to forward our email conversation if you wish. We are thinking about getting a Mazda CX-90 and despite of this experience might go back and see what they can do for us.

I contacted Jeff Haas Mazda in Houston based on my prior good experience with Mazda vehicle and good service from car Pro dealer. This was disappointing - unreturned calls, unwillingness to price vehicle I wanted - trying to sell me different trim, acting like they really don't want my business. Got to look elsewhere

Kenneth Page reached out to me the very next morning and we set up a time to visit. Unfortunately both vehicles we were looking at on line had been sold. As we were driving out he flagged us down and told us about one they had just received and had not had time to even clean it yet. It looked great so we set up a time to come back after they did a brake job and did make ready. Wow, it was a great one owner vehicle. 5 Stars to Kenneth and the Jeff Haaz Mazda team.

This entire process was hands down "the" best car buying experience that I have ever had from start to finish. James brought the vehicle to our home (in the rain) for me and my wife to test drive, evaluated our trade, and even beat our Car Max offer to help absorb some of the negative equity we had. When I went in the next morning to take delivery of our new 2021 Nissan Rogue, James had all of the paper work ready for me to sign, and then he gave me a complete tutorial of all of the vehicle's mechanical and safety features and I was out in 1 hour and 17 minutes. Hat's off to John Hays and his team for an outstanding car buying experience. Well Done Fred Haas Nissan!!

My Salesman, Kenneth Page, could probably sell ice to an eskimo, but he did a really good job for us. At the time of our purchase, there was no chance of finding a car for less than MSPR, but he did help us out and got us more for our trades than I expected. (Yes, I told him our walk away for my trade ... bite me.) We have had a couple of services done and they were by far the best over dealers we have tried in Bryan and especially Conroe.

Kenneth Page called me back immediately and confirmed the car we were interested in was available. He also advised that the price would be $2500 more than that advertised on the website due to the CPO fee. My wife was not happy about this, so I looked again at the website, saw that the car was listed as a CPO vehicle for that price so I was sure I misunderstood him somehow and we continued with our appointment the next day, which was 2 hours away. I had not misunderstood him; the price was actually $2500 more than advertised. He did mention this on the phone call but it’s not the kind of thing I expected from a CarPro dealer. On follow up, Kenneth told me he believed this was a CarPro worthy experience because he held the car for us (24hrs for a car that had already been their lot for 58 days.) and that we didn’t have to wait for a sales consultant once we arrived; I consider this normal for any respectable car deal. We had an issue with a dog becoming ill and were in a hurry (huge mistake) but continued because I was sure we wouldn’t have to worry about any of the usual car deal issues but that was not the case. Overall, we are happy with our purchase, we did get our asking price for our trade and a very good discount on the extended warranty. I don’t feel like we got a bad deal in the end, but we didn’t get a great deal. Isabel in the finance office was very helpful on follow up and clarified a miscommunication on “debt cancellation” actually being the GAP policy and not credit life. I don’t remember the name of the delivery manager but she was great also. Kenneth was ok, short of the classic sales tactics we had driven two hours to avoid, and after mentioning the CarPro, did give us what we asked for, which was $4491 less than they listed the car for 4 days later ( a Toyota Corolla, not a high end vehicle). We never even questioned the asking price of the car we were buying other than the actual price being $2500 more than the advertised price. I would not again drive 2 hours expecting an excellent CarPro experience because I’ve had better experiences at non CarPro dealers much closer to my home; specifically, the sales tactics, the rest of the experience was good.

. I called Jeff Haas Mazda and had a great visit with their salesman ‘Gilbert’ last week. ( they later sent me a follow up text). Below is my reply to that text.. Mike Stone Pros: your dealership is a wonderful store. I had not been in there before & was very impressed with the entire facility. Gilbert very nice, accommodating gentleman. Seemed quite knowledgeable and was happy to let me drive the car, pointing out the various features. It was NOT a high pressure type situation or anything. He’s a real gentleman. I liked the car. Although I had never driven one before I've seen a couple and wanted to test one out. As far as buying it I really don't want to spend $41,000 on this car. I consider myself pretty knowledgeable about what's going on in the Auto industry right now. I listen weekly to the Car Pro radio show, who's banner is well displayed in your dealership. I also listen to another show on Saturday call the Texas car doctor so I know car prices are at a premium these days. Cons : One VERY disturbing thing to me - and I've never seen this at a car dealership before - I asked Gilbert for a drive out price and he prepared one on a printed piece of paper but he said he could not give it to me was not allowed to do so ! Very unusual. He said I could take a picture of it which I've done on my phone. Regarding the pricing, the 2021 published MSRP on that car is $35,520. On the sheet and is shows a discount of $1,898 giving a cash price of $34,991 which is pretty close to the original MSRP. Of course the car only has 7700 miles on it and MAZDA certified pre-owned. The MOST disturbing thing is that there's a line item on the sheet called ‘aftermarket’ : $3,095. Basically what I got from Gilbert this is the Jeff Haas Mazda “lifetime engine warranty”. He said this is what they do and to keep it in force you have to go to the dealership there to get your oil changes done. Well this is absurd ! Firstly the car still has the balance of the factory warranty on it and it's got the certified pre-owned Mazda warranty on top of that. I know it's illegal to require someone to come to a dealership for oil changes, etc. to maintain a factory warranty . I don't need a lifetime engine warranty. I maintain my cars religiously. So if you take the $3,095 additional warranty charge off with the sales tax and the license fees Etc. that would bring it down around $37,600 drive out which is something I might consider paying. Thank you for taking the time to follow up with me. Regards

Charles was great. He insisted I get the exact car, color and price that I wanted. He scoured the lot and finally found a Soul Red CX9 Signature that had literally just come off of the truck. Still had the protective plastic on it! We easily got the payment to what I wanted in a smooth transaction. It wasn't ready for us to take of course so they gave us a loaner after we traded my car in. This is my 3rd "Car Pro" car and I wouldn't do it any other way.

From the 1st phone call to the keys being handed over, the experience was OUTSTANDING!!! Never have we've been in and out of a dealership so quick with no hassle. We will never car shop again without our VIP Priority Pass again. I've listened to Jerry Reynolds and his callers say how wonderful their experience was with the pass, but didn't really buy it till we actually experienced it ourselves. My wife and I were treated like family. The facility was amazing, whole staff was friendly, down to earth and truly best experience we've had car shopping. Definitely will recommend to family and friends!
