Deals On New Wheels: Kiplinger’s Best-Value Awards

2015 Chevrolet Colorado Z71

It’s that time of year. Time, that is, for Kiplinger’s Personal Finance’s annual best-value awards. It lists more than 25 vehicles in various segments ranging from cars under $20,000 all the way to cars over $50,000, followed by SUVs and trucks. The annual assessment considers vehicles’ prices, resale value, fuel efficiency and other criteria in deciding its winners.

Kiplinger’s says the lowest gasoline prices since the great recession, rock-bottom interest rates and an improving economy are fueling a boom in new-car sales. Automakers sold 16.5 million new vehicles in 2014, the most since 2006.
